What are the minimum requirements?
40 hours (10 hours of solo flight, 3 hours of night, 3 hours of instrument)
20 hours (5 hours of solo flight)
Where can I fly?
Anywhere in the world (International flight allowed)
Anywhere within the United States
What aircraft can I fly?
Any airplane with one engine and has landing gear
Any airplane with one engine and landing gear with a stall speed less than 59knots in clean configuration
Can I bring passangers?
Yes, you can carry as many as the airplane can hold.
Yes, but only one passanger regardless of the seat capacity of the airplane.
Can I receive additional training to add certificates and ratings?
Can continue to receive instrument, commercial, multiengine certificates/ratings
Can only training for optional night flight, multiengine aircraft, and complex aircraft
Can I be paid to fly?
No compensation, can share the cost of flying, but can continue training for commercial certificate.
No compensation but can share the cost of flying.
Do I need a medical certificate?
A minimum of a 3rd class medical certificate or basic med
No, just a drivers license, unless you want to fly at night
Can I become a flight instructor?
Yes, once instrument and commercial rated

18,000ft unless instrument rated there is not maximum height
10,000ft MSL or 2,000ft AGL, whichever is higher
